About ClearCut
ClearCut removes the background from a photo and gives you a transparent PNG, without sending your image to a server.
Why it exists
Most background removers ask you to upload your photos to someone else's computer. ClearCut runs the whole process in your browser, so a product shot, a family photo, or a client's logo stays on your device.
How it works
An AI model finds the subject in your image and separates it from the background. You can then clean up any mistakes with the Erase and Restore brushes, adjust the edge, preview the result on different backgrounds, and download it as a PNG. Read more in our blog.
